Tiger Plum Tomato

We acquired these seeds after a dinner party!

We loved the color and look of these tomatoes so much, we scraped the butcher block with the seeds, and took them home!

Its a weird little plant. The entire season it looks like its on the edge of death, and then suddenly when fruits appear, the plant gets healthier looking. They don’t produce enough to can (like most plums), BUT they will dazzle and bedazzle everyone who sees them; beautiful orange and pink stripes over a traditional sized plum tomato.

PROBABLY derived from Baker Creek seeds (according to our research), which means these are classified as rare AND heirloom.
